Nathaniel Bankhead

Born and raised in Tennessee, Nathaniel has spent time as a farmer, teacher, and learner in Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Kansas and Kentucky. Attracted to permaculture out of a desire to draw on the best of both agroecology and community development, he is owner and operator of Wild Violet Permaculture. He specializes in land restoration with a focus on reforestation, grazing, and medicinal herbs. His clientele include nonprofit organizations, the City of Chattanooga, and private landowners across southern Appalachia.
