South of Kingston Springs, TN, we are building an off-grid custom home to Passive House standards in the Mountain Modern style. At over 2300 square feet, this home features an enormous mud room, home office, screened porch, solarium, and an upstairs master bedroom with beautiful views of the surrounding woods and valley. Designed for aging in place, the downstairs master is ready to care for the owners whenever they feel the need. A beautiful two-sided wood stove will separate the dining area from the living room.
